Public Transportation
Bedford operates a municipal
public transit system known as TASC, the Transit Authority of Stone City. TASC operates
a demand response route service that provides curb to curb transportation anywhere
in the city from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. All trips are scheduled on a 
first come, first served, and are scheduled on a time and space availability basis.There is currently NO CHARGE for the TASC service.
Individuals with mobility disabilities are welcome to use wheelchairs and manually powered mobility aids, i.e., walkers, crutches, canes, braces, or other similar devices designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities.

REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS
Individuals needing a service
accommodation or modification must notify TASC of the request when making a
reservation. For more information
regarding the reasonable modification policy or how to file a reasonable
modification complaint, please contact TASC at (812) 275-1800. TASC will
attempt to honor all reasonable accommodation requests.
SERVICE ANIMALSTASC welcomes service animals. Individuals with service animals are responsible for their control. All non-service animals must be in a certified pet carrier. For Information & Reservations, call between
the hours of 8am and 12:00pm or 1:00pm and 4pm Monday - Friday
