ROAD CLOSURE ON M ST BETWEEN 22ND and 24TH STREET
M St between 22ND and 24TH Street will be closed from September 5 through approximately September 27th to repair the road and storm sewer. Residents at Rainbow Hills, duplexes in rear of 24th St, and the Knights of Columbus Hall will all have access from 22nd St. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Emergency personnel as well as the postal service have been notified of this closure. Be patient, cautious and aware of heavy equipment in these areas.

All Bedford City Offices will be closed on Monday, October 14th, 2024, in observance of Columbus Day.
TASC BUSES WILL NOT BE RUNNING.
All Monday trash routes will be picked up as regularly scheduled, Monday, October 14th.
Compost/Recycle routes will be picked up on Tuesday, October 15th.

ROADS UPDATE
LINCOLN AVENUE
Lincoln Avenue from 12th & L St to John Williams Blvd south of roundabout will be open starting Friday morning, August 16th at 6AM.
16th STREET
16th Street from O Street to Brian Lane Way is still closed. All utility work has been completed. E & B Paving have mobilized and started repair including roadway work and subgrade improvement. We will be working with INDOT throughout this project to continue to provide updates to our citizens on the progress of the repairs; however, at this time, a definitive timeline cannot be determined due to unknown repair work.

Lincoln Ave Road Closure from South of Roundabout at JWB to 12th St

Lincoln Avenue will be closed from August 7 – August 16 from 12th & L St to John Williams Blvd south of roundabout to install a sanitary sewer line across Lincoln Ave and do repairs on the roadway on Lincoln Avenue. Schedule dependent on weather conditions. The postal service has been notified of these closures as well as all emergency personnel. If you are aware of deliveries, please contact them and let them know of the closure. Be patient, cautious and aware of heavy equipment in these areas. Put your residential trash out as usual.

Milling is tentatively scheduled for July 18 – 19 and paving is scheduled for July 22 - July 30 for the following roads:
MILLING
July 18: Finish Washington Ave
E Street from US Hwy 50 to 14th Street
July 18: Afternoon Brook Knoll Subdivision
July 19: Brook Knoll Subdivision
PAVING
July 22: Washington Ave
July 23 or July 24 if rain
35th Street
E Street from US Hwy 50 to 14th Street
July 29 -30 Brook Knoll Subdivision
No on street parking while milling and paving.
Schedule dependent on weather conditions
Scheduled time period daily is 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
The postal service has been notified of these closures as well as all emergency personnel
If you are aware of deliveries, please contact them and let them know of the closures
