Total Body Strength & Toning
Instructor: Staci Fiddler

This class is designed to strengthen & tone your back, stomach, glutes, hips, and thigh muscles. This class requires a yoga or workout mat. TRX straps will be provided by the instructor

Examples of exercises: Chest press, hip bridges, squats, lunges, leg lifts, clam shells, back extensions, donkey kicks & sit-ups. Sessions will conclude with some light stretching.

Benefits include strengthening back, core, hips, upper body, and legs for a feeling of general well-being.

TRX Class
Instructor: Staci Fiddler

TRX suspension training is a great way to build strength, improve mobility, increase cardiovascular endurance and develop core stability by utilizing adjustable straps and bodyweight exercises. It is a great way to get a full-body workout, but it is also low-impact and joint-friendly!

With TRX, older adults can try new exercises without the fear of topping over. The device provides a dynamic point of stability. TRX exercises promote balance, core strengthening, and muscle retention, while decreasing the risk of falling in the elderly and reducing the risk of Osteoporosis-related fractures.

Chair Yoga
Instructor: Staci Fiddler

What is Chair Yoga good for? Chair Yoga allows seniors and those with mobility issues or disabilities to stay active and improve their muscle strength and flexibility without the risk of strain or injury. The gentle progression of the Chair Yoga sequences is ideal for those with limited range of motion.

Example: Chair Yoga allows you to perform yoga poses while seated or using a chair for balance. Chair-based yoga offers the same benefits as traditional yoga, such as boosting strength, flexibility, and mental well-being.

Senior Circuit Training
Instructor: Staci Fiddler

Circuit training is a workout that involves rotating through various exercises targeting different parts of the body. All of which are low-impact movements performed while standing. hand-held weights, resistance bands, and a small ball are used to achieve this goal. A chair is provided for standing support.

Benefits: By combining both cardio and strength training exercises, it can help improve muscular strength and endurance, promote heart health, and support weight loss.

Jodo
Instructor:Joe Cieslik

Jodo is a form of Japanese martial arts that uses a wooden staff (jo) to defend against an attacker using a sword and has been studied/practiced for almost 400 years!

Yoga

Yoga is a system of stretches and exercises that can help provide physical, mental, and spiritual well-being!

Zumba
Instructors: Susan Blythe & Deborah Crayton

Zumba is a fitness program that involves cardio and Latin-inspired dance. It is a fun and effective workout for every body at every level!
